What to expect from counselling
Seeking counselling can be a huge step and you may be wondering what is involved and how it could help you.
If you feel counselling may be for you, this is what I offer:

-
An initial free 30-minute chat via phone or Zoom during which we can talk about your concerns and whether exploring your issues through counselling would be a good way to address them.
-
A weekly 50-minute face to face* Zoom or phone session held on the same day and at the same time**
-
A confidential space. I work in a room that is private where our conversations will not be observed or overheard.
-
A therapeutic approach (humanistic) which seeks to help you to find your own answers.
-
An experienced and sincere response to your problems which keeps to the BACP*** ethical framework.
-
Each session costing £45. Concessions may be available depending on circumstances.

* Face to face sessions are held at the Dorset Practice, 40-42 High St, Old Poole, BH15 1BT.
** An occasional change to the regular day and time can be negotiated if necessary.
