A Little About Me

I've had counselling. I have grappled with the loss of loved ones as well as overcoming work-related stress caused by a pressurised management role. I wasn't sure at first whether counselling could help me, but finding a counsellor who understood me and my problems was the turning point.

With her support I learned to explore and recognise what is important to me and find new focus. It led ultimately to becoming a counsellor myself with a keen drive to help others.

You may want to know about my qualifications and experience.

I hold a level 4 diploma in counselling and a level 5 diploma in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).

I also have a diploma in social work.

My registered membership number with the BACP is 393520.

I am also an approved therapist with Anxiety UK.

CLIENT TESTIMONIALS

"When I met with Sarah, I was unsure what I would gain by working with her. Counselling is one of those things that everyone is unsure about, but after a few weeks of sharing my thoughts and feelings, I found that the sessions were really helpful. They made me look at situations I was facing and consider what was best for me, not anyone else, just me. I visited some things that were not comfortable and, as a result, I can now move on with my life. In fact, I know I can call on her at any time which gives me the strength and courage to face each day. Thank you Sarah."

"Although I was uncertain to start therapy for the first time, Sarah made me feel relaxed and supported."

"I would recommend Sarah to anyone. She truly listens to what you say."
